Before that, Todd was placed in the Connecticut station of NBC where he worked as an anchor/reporter from April 2012 to April 2017. Likewise, he was an anchor/reporter for KPSP Local 2 from April 2008 to April 2012.
Prior to handling journalism duties, Todd worked as an associate attorney at Hughes Hubbard & Reed. He graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with BA in Government and earned his J.D. from the University Of California Los Angeles School of Law.

Amanda and her husband, Todd are enjoying over nine years of matrimony, having married in 2015. Their wedding ceremony took place on Friday, June 12th at St. Stephen Church in Trumbull, Connecticut.

The couple met each other for the first through their shared professional interest in journalism. After falling in love, they decided to spend the rest of their lives together in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Christopher J. Samele.
More than nine years into their marriage, the pair is blessed with two beautiful kids. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named McKenna Piro in November 2020.
Later on June 19, 2022, Amanda and her partner welcomed their second daughter, Alexis Piro.
