Damola Adamolekun, born in Nigeria and bred in the United States, grew up in an African household. Both of his parents are health professionals, working as a neurologist and pharmacist!

Damola started a new tenure as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Red Lobster in September 2024. Red Lobster, also called Red Lobster Hospitality, LLC, is an Orlando, Florida-based casual dining restaurant chain.

Adamolekun was called up to become the new CEO of the dining restaurant on August 26, 2024. A day earlier, Red Lobster had closed 23 restaurants as part of the bankruptcy plan.

Damola joined Red Lobster with the motive of bringing back the greatness the restaurant had carried for decades. He was a 9-year-old when he first tried the Red Lobster meal and he has been the fan since.

Damola’s upbringing came in a Nigerian household where his parents devoted their professional careers to the medical field. His father is a neurologist and his mother is a pharmacist.

He is 35 years old, born in 1989 in Nigeria. Damola celebrated his birthday in 2023 with his family and team members from P.F. Chang’s.

He considers his mother the biggest role model. Mrs. Adamolekun has shuffled between her work as a pharmacist and business owner while guiding her son and his three siblings to the glory of greatness.
