Elizabeth Little’s debut thriller novel won an award and was nominated several times. It was also named a Los Angeles Times bestseller.

Elizabeth brings her experience of creative writing and thinking as a contestant in the popular game show, Jeopardy! She is one of the contestants in the show’s 41st season.

Elizabeth will make her competitive debut as a challenger on November 20, 2024. In the new episode, the Los Angeles native will face off against the returning champion and one more competitor.

In last night’s episode, Mikey McCullough from Baltimore, Maryland earned a title as a new Jeopardy champion. While bagging $18,200, the librarian ended the winning streak of Paul Clauson.

Elizabeth and Mikey will be joined by a Seattle, Washington-based software engineer, Mehal Shah, on tonight’s episode.

Elizabeth is a writer and a Los Angeles Times bestselling author. She first started her writing journey with a nonfiction titled Biting the Wax Tadpole: Confessions of a Language Fanatic, published in 2007.

Eventually, Elizabeth released her second nonfiction book titled Trip of the Tongue: Cross-Country Travels in Search of America’s Languages in 2012.

Elizabeth’s 2014 debut thriller novel, Dear Daughter was a game changer. It was critically acclaimed and was a Los Angeles Times bestseller. The novel was also published worldwide.

Most recently, Elizabeth published her second novel Pretty as a Picture in 2020.

Elizabeth’s works have appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, McSweeney’s, and the Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications. Likewise, she has featured in All Things Considered, The World, and Here and Now.
