Jordan Carr Peterson is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Tennessee. He has been teaching since 2018.

Jordan is set to make his reality television debut as a contestant in the 41st season of Jeopardy! His episode will air on television on December 17, 2024.

As a new contestant on Tuesday’s episode, Jordan will share the podium with a returning Jeopardy champion, Ashley Chan. Likewise, he will be joined by Jasmine Zhou, an ASIC engineer based in Woodland, California.

Ashley, a publicist from Lewisville, Texas, is on a three-day winning streak on Jeopardy! With her latest win on Monday, she now has a total of $46,500.

Jordan was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Currently, he resides in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Jordan completed his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Southern California in 2008.

Additionally, he completed his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from The University of Florida- Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2012.

Furthermore, Jordan completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science from the University of Southern California in the year 2018.

Currently, Jordan is working as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Tennessee. He has been teaching there since May 2023.

Peterson started his teaching career as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Texas Christian University. He worked there from 2018 to 2020.

Furthermore, Peterson started working as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at North Carolina State University. He continued teaching there from August 2020 to June 2022.

Thereafter, Jordan started teaching at Jacksonville University from August 2022 to May 2023.

In 2006, Peterson was a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California. There he researched Issues of war & representation and early Eastern European asymmetric warfare.

Peterson also worked as a Law Clerk at Public Defender for the 4th Judicial Circuit. There he drafted briefs and motions for public defenders in the felony division and attended trials, hearings, and depositions.

Back in January 2012 to August 2012, Jordan worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida.
