As a new contestant on Friday’s episode, Maria will face the returning champion and one more challenger. Laura Faddah became a new Jeopardy champion on Thursday.
The manager from Memphis, Tennessee, added $11,200 to her winning total with a win on last night’s episode. While claiming a victory, she ended the winning streak of a previous one-day champion, Eric Weldon-Schilling.
The duo of Maria and Laura will be joined by Joe Asaminew, an ER Physician from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
