Mike Davis, President Trump’s Reliable Aide, Has No Plans Going Back To Government

Mike Davis made an announcement through his X account that he has no plans of going back to the government and would rather support President Donald Trump through the Article III Project. Mike has been considered one of the contenders to become Trump’s attorney general.

Mike, an American lawyer, is popular as the founder and president of the Article III Project (A3P). He formed the project in April 2019 with the aim to promote and defend constitutionalist judges.

Likewise, Mike has been serving as a founder and managing partner of MRDLaw. He is also a founder and president of Unsilenced Majority and Internet Accountability Project (IAP).

Mike is the former Chief Counsel for Nominations to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley. He also led the Colorado Attorney General’s Office as the special assistant attorney general for the State of Colorado from February 2013 to March 2017.

Previously, Mike was committed to Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell LLP as a litigation associate attorney from March 2010 to February 2012. He handled the same position at Greenberg Traurig, LLP from September 2007 to March 2010.

Mike worked at the United States Department of Justice after serving as the associate director at the Office of Political Affairs at The White House.

Mike has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism, obtained from the University of Iowa in 2000. He also completed his Juris Doctor from Iowa in 2004.

Davis has clearly stated through his X post that he is not going back to the government, at least for now. He has been considered as one of the candidates to become the attorney general of Donald Trump after Trump was elected new President of the United States.

However, Mike mentioned on his X on November 9, 2024, that he had made crystal clear for many months that he was not going back into government. Also, he added that he will continue to strongly support President Trump through his Article III Project.

Mike previously served in all three branches of the federal government, including for President George W. Bush.
