Laurel, a project manager from Austin, Texas, became the new champion on Thursday’s episode. With a hard-fought win, she added $18,801 to her balance.
Next up to share the stage with Pietrowicz is Susan Beachy, a news researcher from Queens, New York.

Pietrowicz is busy with his professional service as a Diplomatic Security Service special agent. He first joined the State Department in 2002.
Nick first served in the New York City field office. He was then posted to Port-au-Prince, Kabul, Chisinau and N’Djamena. He then served as the RSO at Embassy Luanda.

While working at Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Pietrowicz was responsible for evacuating Peace Corps volunteers and U.S. Embassy personnel and their families in February 2004. Likewise, he also led the evacuation of 200 American citizens to the airport while two trucks full of rebels attempted to stop the charter plane.
Pietrowicz also personally rescued the head of the National Coalition for Haitian Rights, who was in hiding. He confronted and disarmed two armed men who were trying to break into the U.S. Embassy compound.

Is Nick Pietrowicz Married?
Pietrowicz is a married man! As of the information from The Foreign Services Journal, September 2014, he was living a blissful life with his wife and a son.
Since Pietrowicz hasn’t shared an update on his personal life, it’s unknown if he and his wife have welcomed more children into their lives.
